parotta! our ever-time favorite food, now there is a variety of tending parottas now like rainbow parotta, kizhi parotta, etc. but square parotta is not a new one but it is a little much popular. Square parotta is from City Star Hotel also called as "Balan chettante Kada".It is a local hotel in mattancheri with Kerala food. The hotel is full of customers and tasty Kerala local dishes.


SQUARE PAROTTA

 Square parotta is not a newcomer, it is been take place for years in  city star hotel and not in any other place. This parotta is not made like normal parotta, the preparation of square parotta is also in another manner in the case of normal parotta it will make by spreading the dough into thin and roll and again spread, in case of square parotta they make by bend all four edges of the dough to the shape of a square. And then ready to cook. It is very soft and tasty with crispy outer. Its rate is only RS 6/- per one and it is worth it. The best combination with square parotta is definitely beef which is charging RS 70/- per plate.

There are also have many dishes such as beef roast chicken fry etc...the only problem is we need to wait for free space to have the food, that much crowd is there to have food. The shops like this will give a more authentic taste of Kerala food. It will satisfy both mouth and stomach with the best ever tasty food for an affordable and fair price. We can't get this taste from other big star hotels. They will use the correct amount of spice in their dishes which create Kerala specials.

DUM PAROTTA 

is the upgraded version of dum biriyani, dum biriyani is made by cook all pre-cooked ingredients inside one pot or anything used to cook in a layer-by-layer manner. This cooking method is also used in the case of dum parotta. 

KIZHI PAROTTA

Kizhi parotta is the previous generation of dum parotta. Which is also prepared like dum parotta with only parotta and curry. Then bind it using banana leaf and cook it again. It is also a star food at a time. But this trend doesn't last for long.

PAROTTA ROLL

It is the most trending new dish after dum parotta . It's a dish which is made based on shawarma. Parotta roll is made by adding meat, veggies, mayonnaise inside parotta and rolled inside a parotta.


RAINBOW PAROTTA

There are no haters for parotta, now a new change has come, which is rainbow parotta. It's a Malaysian recipe that is trending now. The rainbow Parotta is the same normal parotta with different varieties of flavor and color. They using high-quality food color so that will not lead to health problems.
