SHAWARMA
According to google Shawarma is a dish in Middle Eastern cuisine made by meat that will cut into thin slices, then stacked in a cone shape, and roasted using a slowly now shawarma mainly using chicken, turkey, or beef. Whatever in Kerala shawarma hold the crown of popularity among peoples, it is tasty, rich filling and affordable. Kerala has lots of shawarma hubs in every corner and there are so many varieties of shawarma. Most of them are eaten chicken, mutton, or beef shawarma. Now a new taste is here which is fish shawarma.
FISH SHAWARMA
Fish shawarma is rare in Kerala, there is not much place that provides fish shawarma. The preparation of fish shawarma is totally different from the preparation of other shawarma. The fish using for this is basa fish. They marinate the basa fish in their special masala for a while. Instead of roast in a vertical rotisserie they Tawa fry the fish by cutting into cubes shape and in the rolling section add mayonnaise, sauce, french fries, vegetables. Then it will be rolled in rumali roti and once again cook in Tawa and ready to serve. Fish shawarma is now available only at few places, one of it is Barbecue Space Restaurant palayam,Trivandrum, they are the same who introduced fish shawarma in Kochi It has mostly the taste of Fish. Basa fish has protein content and less bone. This makes the shawarma more special. The price for it is RS:150/-
